R. I. P.

In case you haven't heard yet, Arthur C. Clarke has died. The guy was 90, and lived a good, long life.

I honestly don't spend a lot of time reading science fiction, but I have read a few of his books. It's a shame to loose such an author. So take a moment out of your day to reflect on this loss.

the movie was better, movies are always better.

You are wrong. The book is better. The book is almost always better. You could maybe argue that Stardust was a better movie than book... they were just very different. Princess Bride was as good as the book and it is a great movie. There is nothing else where the movie even comes close to being as good.
